Genesis

The city emptied in a single night. You are going to live there anyway.

Genesis is a relaxed, hand-crafted city builder set among the ruins of a Roman and medieval city. Lay out homes, raise streets of joined townhouses, and watch your settlers carry stone from the rubble to rebuild what was lost. Your camp becomes a village, a town, a city, and at last a great city that fills the old walls again.

Every ruin is a choice: tear down the old temple for stone now, or rebuild it block by block and earn its blessing. But the ruins remember. The longer the great buildings stand broken and the deeper you dig, the more the dread rises, and the night grows strange.

Relics surface as you dig: a legion’s tablet, a bronze mask, a key that fits no door. Each one adds a page to your Chronicle. Late in the game, sink a shaft into the Undercity, a second, dark map of cisterns, catacombs and a deep temple, where a Sealed Gate waits for your decision.
